Sugarcane jaggery has been used for over 3000 years and is a healthier alternativetowhite sugar. It’s a nutrient-dense food with a high concentration of essential aminoacids, antioxidants, phenolic acids, and minerals. True Native Cane Jaggery is sourcedfrom the local farmers of Kerala. Regular consumption of white sugar can result in a range of health problems. Jaggery, on the other hand, is significantly more wholesome and healthier. It is manufacturednaturally, retaining its mineral, antioxidant, vitamin, and protein content, making it
an exceptionally nutritious sweetener.
In addition to providing energy, it also helps to avoid rheumatic disorders, biliary
difficulties, weakness, muscle, nerve, and blood vessel relaxation. It decreases water
accumulation, lowers blood pressure, aids digestion and avoids anaemia by
increasing haemoglobin levels. It prevents smoke-induced lung lesions in smokers.
In Ayurveda jaggery is used to treat throat and lung infections, migraines, and
clotted blood during pregnancy. It improves sperm count, is lactogenic, and is usedto treat various ailments, including cough, stomach ache, indigestion, gastric acidity, and constipation. In Indian scripts, jaggery is said to aid blood purification, rheumaticillness prevention, and bile-related ailments.
